Treating Tattoo Removal after Pregnancy

While there are no known contraindications when using the PicoSure laser for tattoo removal, it is still best to err on the side of caution. It is therefore recommended to not treat women who are breast feeding, or to wait until the mother has finished lactating completely. So while the mum may not be breastfeeding, she may still be lactating in which case it is still recommended not to have laser tattoo removal treatment. In the event the patient is not lactating, please wait at least 1 month after pregnancy before having any laser treatment.
