Laser Hair Removal and Cold Sores

In terms of the cold sores and laser hair removal on the face, please note we can treat the area as long as the cold sore is not active. You should however also be aware that the laser treatment as it is heat-based, can induce or trigger the reoccurrence of a cold sore. Do not have laser treatment on active cold sores. If in doubt, please consult with your doctor.
